Location: Flexible European location (home office)


The Partner Enablement Specialist will play a key role in furthering the engagement and enablement of SUSE’s global partner ecosystem, both on a sales and technical front, with a focus on channel partners. Partner Enablement assists in the development of sales and technical skills by providing a structured curriculum of training and tools to address the needs of our partners. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director, Global Sales Enablement. This role has responsibilities that include developing sales enablement content, coordination with regional partner executives and the global Field Enablement team, and presenting training courses to constituents within our partners. The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of channel partner relationships, sales dynamics and SUSE solutions in order to create enablement tools and training that drive partnership value and revenue for both the partner and SUSE. The role requires passion, creativity and excellent communications skills that are balanced by business acumen and an understanding of partnering and selling skills. Position requires approximately 25-40% travel.


Responsibilities

  • Be an evangelist for SUSE products and solutions
  • Work directly with Alliance and Channel Partner management teams and the Field Enablement team to execute partner enablement programs
  • Work closely with solutions marketing, sales enablement, technical training and product management to turn market positioning and technical training into partner-specific content
  • Create partner focused sales enablement resources, along with providing technical enablement in a manner that can be consumed by our partner constituents
  • Create on demand resources ranging from overview cards to training, podcasts and videos
  • Instruct partners in face to face or online trainings
  • Host webcasts to educate partners
  • Approximately 25-40% travel required, some international


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (or applicable experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a partner account manager, alliance manager, partner enablement manager or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communications skills
  • Strong presentation and classroom management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Experience working with a variety of inter-departmental and international stakeholders
  • Prior sales experience highly desired
  • Experience with on-demand training highly desired
  • Social media experience a plus
  • On camera experience a plus
  • Video creation and editing a plus
